Lundeen Learning was founded to solve a longstanding problem in our field. Despite decades of research on how people learn, most organizations still design learning experiences that overlook what works.

As an educational psychologist, Rebecca spent years helping educators and learning designers understand what research tells us about the brain, how we process information, build skills, and stay motivated. When Kia joined her graduate program at USC, she quickly emerged as an outstanding student who shared the same commitment to rigor, clarity, and learner-centered design.

That shared passion became an enduring partnership. Over the past five years, Rebecca and Kia have collaborated across universities, healthcare systems, and nonprofits to translate evidence-based learning science into practical, usable, joyful learning experiences.

Today, Lundeen Learning exists to close the research-to-practice gap for good.

We design courses and programs that respect how people think and feel, reduce cognitive overload, support motivation, and create real-world impact. We believe learning should be clear, purposeful, equitable, and grounded in evidence, not trends.
